You’ll find Vroeg in a gorgeous location along the New Dutch Waterline between Bunnik and Utrecht, which means it’s the perfect place to rest your legs when you’re on a cycle tour. If you just want a quick pit stop, pop into the store for freshly-baked bread and regional produce, such as cherries (during season) from Vernooij of Cothen. When you have a little more time, find a table in the restaurant where everything, such as the irresistible brined-chicken, is freshly prepared.
