If you’re not already a coffee lover, Koffie Leute Brauhaus will probably convert you! This café feels like a comfortable living room where you can read the paper without interruption and even play a game of Mario Kart, all while enjoying excellent coffee.
Koffie Leute Brauhaus is one of the nicest coffee spots in Utrecht, not only due to the delicious coffee they brew there, but also because of the relaxed atmosphere. True coffee fans sit at the filter bar to watch the skills of the barista, while other find a spot in the ‘living room’ to savour their drink or test their skills on an old school games console. In the back there’s a shop selling gifts and a ‘plant asylum’ where they give various workshops.

The area around Koffie Leute, the Vaartse Rijn, is on the rise. Recently, a lot of creatives have set up shop there and you’ll find a lot of good places to eat, such as Broei (Oosterkade 24) and Restaurant Vaartsche Rijn (Westerkade 27).
