Schenkers is a popular place among Apeldoorn’s locals; not only for the freshly roasted coffee they serve, but also for their cakes, lunch or craft beer with which to round off the day. In other words: bakers, baristas and bartenders.
Schenkers is one of those places where you could easily spend all day, because while you’re drinking your morning coffee, the lunch menu catches your eye. You can sit on a school chair at one of the many tables, find a place at the refectory table or settle down on coffee-sack-covered bench in the bay window. It’s so easy to lose track of time there. The coffee beans come from Bosbrand, Schenkers’ own roasting house next door. Be sure to buy a bag to take home.
